[LONDON, UK, 15 March 2019] CANCOM beat 12 other contenders to win Enterprise Cloud Solution of the Year at this year’s European IT and Software Excellence Awards held in Central London last night.
The award recognises the design and build of a cloud-first, modern workplace for a joint venture between music licensing bodies PRS for Music and PPL. The design met a complex set of needs, supporting multiple locations, home-based and field-based staff.
“Compared to competitors, our design was the only one offering a full end-to-end, cloud solution,” commented Managing Director, Martin Hess.
It feels terrific to be recognised for our Cloud expertise. As part of CANCOM, we have an incredible portfolio we can offer clients in the UK. Combined with OCSL’s passion and talent for Cloud, we’re in a great place! I’m very proud of our teams and our clients, who made all this possible. Well done to all!"
Now in its eleventh year, the European IT and Software Excellence Awards attracted more than 100 entries from 30 countries. It celebrates IT solutions that get to the heart of customer issues, delivering better business, a clearer understanding of data, and more efficient and profitable outcomes.
"It was a record year for entrants, with over 450 projects submitted from across Europe in a wide range of categories.” commented John Garratt, chair of the judges’ panel and Editor of IT Europa.
CANCOM’s award-winning 360-degree workplace design included:
- A full Office 365 Productivity Suite to drive up collaboration and productivity
- Resilient, secure networking and WAN connectivity to deliver reliability and protect data in the Cloud
- A robust Managed Services IaaS to deliver scalability, agility and to host critical SaaS licensing apps
