[LONDON, UK, 12 July, 2017] Today at Microsoft Inspire 2017 it was announced OCSL has won the Intelligent Edge Mobility Award category, beating off strong competition from other partners. Jointly awarded by Microsoft HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise), the Award recognises OCSL’s success in designing an HPE-Aruba Wi-Fi network for a leading UK travel organisation. The solution has improved the IoT user experience for over 42 million customers and has driven up productivity in the workplace.
Iain Mobberley, Technology Director and Mark Skelton, Head of Consultancy were at the event in Washington D.C. to receive the Awards from Olivier Suinat - SVP WW Sales – HPE and Alyssa Fitzpatrick - General Manager, WW Channel Sales – Microsoft.
Martin Hess, OCSL’s Chairman reflected, “We’re delighted to be recognised for our expertise in the area of Intelligent Edge Mobility. For this particular client, we needed to design an infrastructure to support 2000+ wireless access points in a high availability configuration. Improving the customer experience was important but so too was maximising their new revenue opportunities. With more powerful data insight it’s now possible to execute real-time personalised marketing and streamline resources more effectively. The end result is a much enhanced customer experience”
He continued, “In sectors such as travel, health, legal and insurance, and right across the Public Sector, we’re helping clients identify the best solutions for digital transformation. And it’s our closeness with both Microsoft and HPE that helps us pinpoint the right infrastructure choices.”
He concluded, “Both on premises and in the Cloud, we’re the perfect partner to help our clients understand how Microsoft and HPE supports a Hybrid IT strategy.”
